Mount Meru is located to the East of Arusha town Tanzania, about 20km drive from Arusha town and 70m west of Mount Kilimanjaro. Mount Meru is dormant stratovolcano and it is the second highest mountain in Tanzania, and the fifth highest mountain in Africa. It is located within Arusha National Park.
