I founded FOREward Thinking, a nautical flavour, to share my love of sea travel and my desire to go aboard ferries to travel around Europe, with a mission to promote the benefits of using this mode of transport over others. Being a ferry enthusiast for three decades, I have served as a useful source of information to friends and family seeking inspiration, help, or advice when wishing to travel around Europe by ship. I finally decided to own that role by starting an online blog to help others; writing about my passions, my thoughts and observations of ferries and travelling by sea. To spice things up I ONLY use ferries; using them like busses, I zig-zag across the sea going from A-B-C......and back to A, going on as many ships as I can that time allows. Why call my blog FOREward Thinking, a nautical flavour? Well, FORE (as in the ship bow), THINKING ahead as to what ship I can catch next, all on ferries - the nautical flavour bit. I particular attention to the dining, lounge, bar, leisure, cabin and children's facilities, along with the ships' overall interior design, general arrangement and ambience, all with a mission to show everyone how good ferries are.
