I’m Donna Martin, the Progressive Traveller. Growing up in Brisbane Australia, I was never a big traveller. Outside of a few family holidays which were mostly road-trips, I had no international travel experience. When I was 17, I won my first trip overseas to Japan for selling the most Seiko watches in Australia. In 2001, I met my husband who has always been an avid traveller. On our first year together, we went on a 4-week vacation in Rome, France and England. Since, then I have not stopped travelling. A few years ago, I quit my full-time job after deciding I wanted a different life! Back then all I knew is I wanted to travel more, experience other cultures and meet new people. My passion for travel journaling for my family and friends has since turned into the successful online business it is today. Sometimes, I have to pinch myself to make sure I’m not dreaming.
