Hi! We are SmallFamilyBigAdventure, just a typical Canadian family with two kids and two working parents, living life in the suburbs. Our daily routine is comprised of early mornings, rushed breakfasts, busy days and even busier evenings. Weekends, when not spent working, are for relaxing and sleeping but only once the cleaning, grocery shopping, errands are done. One rainy Saturday, we decided to change things up and slow things down a little. We decided to take a break from the hustle and bustle of daily life to do things we really want to do. Some of the most important things to us are family, health and travelling and we value experiences, learning and simplicity. That said, we felt that our actions didn’t quite reflect our priorities. We decided to create an opportunity for us to focus on the things that mean the most to us. We are about to embark on a 6-month travel adventure around the world.
