Bronx Historical Tours ® founded by Alexandra Maruri in 2011 after a long career in Corporate America. Alexandra envisioned showing people the borough from a locals perspective to promote the history and culture of The Bronx. Alexandra is a Bronx native and entrepreneur and a big supporter of the arts, education and small businesses. Alexandra built the sustainable tourism model to preserve the history and culture and offer educational, fun and unique experiences for international and domestic visitors. These guided tours are led by Bronx natives, they offer private and public tours to different neighborhoods in The Bronx.
