A woman who believes in "Changing can'ts into cans and dreams into plans"!!! My name is Ankitha Prakash and I am a 20-something Indian born, currently pursuing my Doctoral Degree Program in Civil Engineering at Florida Atlantic University, Florida, USA. I was born and raised in Hyderabad (Telangana, India), a city famous for its rich cultural heritage and food. No wonder why I am a huge gastronome and love to travel to explore a variety of cultures. Since my childhood I have always noticed how my grandfather planned for the vacations way ahead and would manage to handle all the trips with ease. It definitely laid a foundation stone for my travel planning. I have been travelling for a long time now but the idea of exploring a place by capturing it on my camera (Nikon D5500) and a thought to pen down my experiences struck my mind when I was 23 years old. Basically, that was the time when I moved to Bologna, Italy to pursue my Masters Degree in Civil Engineering from the prestigious University of Bologna. Amidst my busy involvement in research and dealing with studying lots of books (of course related to my field), I definitely needed a way to enjoy my leisure time. The thought of writing blogs of the places I have been to and to share my stories in a way that would be of some help to other travelers has always been my motive. And therefore, I have been building my travel history and feeding my mind with all the experiences.
