3 Days Itinerary In Tokyo

Tokyo, the biggest city of Japan, has thousands of things to do and unique activities.
In the following Onigiro will bring you across the best districts of Tokyo withing 3 days.
To move within the city using subways, buy the Tokyo subway ticket for 3 days (~12 $).

Day 1 - Ueno, Akihabara & Sky Tree


In the morning, visit the biggest Zoo of the city, located in Ueno district.

Once you finish the visit, let's move to Akihabara nerd district to have lunch at Tonkatsu Hamakatsu, on 8th floor of Akiba Yodobashi Camera, one of the tastier pork cutlet you'll ever eat!

After lunch wonder around this district full of anime shops, manga, videogames and tech of every kind.

In the afternoon take the subway heading Tokyo Oshiage Sky Tree station.
During weekends, the queue to get up on the tower might be long...but the night view is stunning!
Once back to ground level, make some shopping and dinner inside Solamachi mall.

Day 2 - Shibuya, Harajuku & Shinjuku


In the morning we start from Shibuya's world's largest pedestrian crossing, with a breakfast at the starbucks Tsutaya.
Then, take a picture of Hachiko statue outside subway station and then make some shopping on nearby streets.
The best malls in the area are Shibuya 109 for ladies and Magnet for boys.

After a quick lunch, let's move to Harajuku, inside Takeshita dori, the street of young people and colorful shops.
Buy some sweets before visiting the Meiji jingu shrine through the giant wooden gate, close to Harajuku station.

In the evening we reach the Government building in Shinjuku district,that offers a free panoramic view on Tokyo.
This futuristic area is full of neon lights, enjoy Omoide Yokocho narrow streets to eat some yakitori at local pubs.

Day 3 - Asakusa & Odaiba


Asakusa is the area of temples, the most famous in Tokyo.
Walk through Kaminarimon gate and make some souvenir shopping in this historic district.
Also, in the area you can try delicious food like the Melon pan at Kagetsudo Honten.

Once you're satisfied, let's jump on a boat cruise on Sumida river, direction Odaiba!

The cruise takes 1 hour to reach Odaiba, an artificial island full of malls of every kind.
The main attractions that will entertain you this evening are the gigantic Gundam Unicorn, the colorful Rainbow bridge, Pallet Town ferris wheel and the statue of liberty replica.
