Hi, we're Kiki and MJ and Afven is our mother/son travel blog. You may be wondering just what Afven means! It’s a mash-up of the words Affordable Adventures, and the result of a little idea we had one day. We love to travel! Who doesn’t. Whether it’s a day trip to a great beach, a weekend up the mountain or a holiday overseas, we’re all about making those memories. But it can sometimes be expensive to do, especially for families. So we decided we’d start sharing our adventures, as well as the things we did to help stay on budget. Whether it’s flights, accommodation, food or activities we’re always on the look out for an affordable adventure.
