Experience the Great Tonle Sap Lake and meet the residents of Kompong Khleang Floating Village who call it home. Tour highlights include local snacks - like fresh sticky rice and palm sugar donuts - a drive through the countryside, a visit to Kompong Khleang, the largest floating village in Siem Reap, and a boat ride out to the Tonle Sap Lake.

See Siem Reap’s largest and least visited floating village. Experience the countryside along the way. Join us on our daily, Kompong Khleang floating village group tour.

This tour departs at 2:00pm in an air-conditioned van. We head out to Kompong Khleang, a rural village located about one hour from Siem Reap. This is the least visited floating village in Siem Reap province - so if you are looking for a truly authentic experience it is your best bet!

On our way to the village, we stop for sticky rice made fresh every morning. We will then experience a local bakery to see workers make products by hand (depending on the day) and try palm sugar donuts, a popular treat.

Afterwards, continue on our journey and arrive in Kompong Khleang where we head through the village usually making a stop at a Buddhist pagoda.

After the pagoda visit, we will continue in the boat through Kompong Khleang and out to the Tonle Sap Lake. Along the way you will see hundreds of stilted homes. We will then arrive at the Tonle Sap Lake and see two other floating (house-boat) communities who migrate depending on the season. We will hang out on the lake for sunset and then make our way back to Siem Reap city.
