Discover the wonders of Bwindi Impenetrable National Park in just 12 hours! This unforgettable tour offers you the opportunity to encounter the endangered mountain gorillas and connect with the Batwa people, known for their rich culture and history.

Your professional driver-guide will meet you at your lodge in Kabale at 6:00am for an early departure to the Ruhija sector of Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. Upon arrival, you will join fellow trackers for a comprehensive briefing and a cultural entertainment session. After the briefing, you will be assigned a gorilla family to track, accompanied by experienced rangers and trackers.

Before heading into the forest, you will receive a packed lunch and drinking water to sustain you throughout the trek. The adventure takes you deep into the jungle, offering a unique opportunity to spend one unforgettable hour observing mountain gorillas in their natural habitat. The trek typically lasts between 2 and 8 hours, depending on the gorillas' movements.

At the end of the trek, you will receive a gorilla tracking certificate to commemorate this extraordinary experience. Your guide will then transfer you back to Kabale or another agreed-upon destination.

Bwindi Impenetrable National Park lies in southwestern Uganda on the edge of the Rift Valley. More famously, this “impenetrable forest” also protects an estimated 400 mountain gorillas – roughly half of the world’s population, including several habituated groups which can be tracked.
