DETAILED ITINERARY

Day 1: Arrive in Nairobi

Upon arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport in Nairobi, you’ll be greeted by our representative who will assist with your transfer to your city hotel for check-in and relaxation. After settling in, take a leisurely afternoon tour with your guide, starting with a visit to the Giraffe Center, where you’ll have the unique opportunity to hand-feed the endangered Rothschild giraffes. Next, explore the Karen Blixen Museum, once the home of the famous author of Out of Africa, learning about her life and the history of the estate. The final stop will be at the Kobe Craft Center, where you can watch local women create beautiful handcrafted jewelry. You’ll also have the chance to purchase some of these exquisite pieces as souvenirs. After the day’s excursions, return to your hotel for a delicious dinner and a restful overnight stay.

Day 2: Nairobi to Mt. Kenya

After breakfast, check out of your hotel and embark on a scenic drive through the lush Highlands, heading towards the foot of Mt. Kenya, the second-highest peak in Africa. On arrival, check into your hotel, where you’ll have time to relax and unwind. Enjoy a leisurely lunch at the hotel, followed by an afternoon of relaxation. You can take in the stunning views of the mountain or simply enjoy the hotel’s amenities at your own pace. The evening is yours to enjoy at leisure before a delicious dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 3: Mt. Kenya to Ol Pejeta Conservancy

After a leisurely breakfast, spend some time enjoying the hotel’s facilities or partake in any activities the property offers. In the afternoon, depart for the Ol Pejeta Conservancy, located on the edge of the Aberdare Mountain Range. This private wildlife conservancy is home to the Rhino & Chimpanzee Sanctuary, where you’ll have the rare chance to interact with and feed Baraka, the blind rhino, and learn about the crucial conservation efforts in place to protect these endangered species. The conservancy is also home to a variety of wildlife, including elephants, zebras, and lions. As the sun sets, return to your camp for a well-deserved dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 4: Mt. Kenya to Nairobi and Maasai Mara

After breakfast, check out and head back to Nairobi. Upon arrival, enjoy a leisurely barbecue lunch at the famous Carnivore Restaurant, where you can indulge in a variety of exotic meats such as ostrich, crocodile, and more. After lunch, transfer to Wilson Airport for your local flight to the Maasai Mara, one of Kenya's most celebrated wildlife reserves. Upon arrival, you’ll be transferred to your luxury camp where you’ll spend the evening relaxing in the serene surroundings. Enjoy dinner at the camp, followed by an overnight stay.

Day 5: Maasai Mara Game Drives

Start your day with an early morning game drive, where you’ll venture into the Mara to spot the region's most iconic wildlife, including the Big 5. After the game drive, return to the camp for a hearty breakfast. Spend the rest of the day at your leisure, either relaxing by the camp’s pool or enjoying the view from your tent, where you may spot hippos and crocodiles near the river. In the late afternoon, head out for another game drive at sunset, when the animals are most active. After a day full of adventure, enjoy a sundowner while watching the sun dip below the horizon, followed by a delectable dinner back at your camp.

Day 6: Full-Day Maasai Mara Game Viewing

Enjoy a full day of game viewing in the Maasai Mara, where you’ll embark on a morning game drive in search of the Big 5 and other incredible wildlife. Continue exploring the reserve, stopping for a picnic lunch at the banks of the Mara River, where you can relax and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. Afterward, head back out for another game drive to search for animals you may not have spotted earlier in the day. The Mara is famous for its diverse wildlife, and each game drive offers something new and exciting. In the evening, return to your camp for a delicious dinner and a peaceful overnight stay.

Day 7: Maasai Mara to Nairobi

Start the day with an early morning game drive at the conservancy, soaking in the beauty of the Mara as the animals begin to stir with the first light of dawn. Afterward, return to your camp for breakfast before checking out and heading to the airstrip for your local flight back to Nairobi. Upon arrival, you’ll be transferred to your city hotel, where you can enjoy a relaxing lunch before spending the afternoon at leisure. You’ll have time to explore Nairobi or simply relax before preparing for your departure.

Day 8: Nairobi to Home

After a delicious breakfast, check out of your city hotel and enjoy a transfer to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your return flight home. Alternatively, if you wish to extend your adventure, you may opt to continue your journey to one of Kenya’s beautiful beach destinations for a relaxing coastal retreat.
