6 Days Tanzania Wildlife Safari

ITINERARY:
Day 01: Arrival Day
Pick up from Kilimanjaro International Airport and transfer to Tarangire for overnight at Kibo Palace Hotel-BB.
Day 02: Tarangire National Park
After breakfast transfer to Tarangire national park with your packed lunch for game viewing, enjoy a picnic lunch at Tarangire then continue with your game viewing until late evening, dinner and overnight.

Accommodation: Marera Lodge/Farm of Dreams Lodge

One of the most noticeable things on entering the park are the baobab trees that rise up form the grass. With their massive trunks, they are instantly recognizable. There are animals that usually move northwards of the park during the wet season including the wildebeests, zebras, Thompson's gazelles, buffalos, elands and hartebeests. The elephant population in this park was estimated to be around 6'000 in 1987, but numbers are believed to have fallen since then due to poaching.

Day 03: Serengeti National Park+ Maasai Village

• After breakfast transfer to Serengeti national park via Ngorongoro conservation area, with your lunch box and game en-route, You will visit maasai village and interact with maasai people. Dinner and overnight at the Tented Camp.

Day 04: Serengeti Full day
After breakfast take a packed lunch with you and continue with game viewing on Serengeti Park. The migration can be seen on a long chain approximately 50 Km heading to the Northern direction. Around 1230 and 1300 break for your lunch. After lunch have a rest for one hr, then proceed with your game viewing following the move of the migrants on the northern of the park..
Dinner and overnight at Serengeti.

Day 05: Serengeti/ Ngorongoro Crater .
-After breakfast with your packed lunch drive and game enroute to Ngorongoro Conservation Area, Descend in to the Crater for 6 hours Crater tour. This 100 square mile natural amphitheatre is host to an astonishing array of wildlife and you may be lucky enough to see rhino, elephant, lion, buffalo as well as large herd's zebras and wildebeest. A picnic lunch will be taken in to the Crater Watch for more animals. After a picnic lunch, continue with game viewing until late afternoon, then drive to your lodge for Dinner and Overnight at Lake Eyasi.

Day 06: Lake Eyasi- Hadzabe /Bush men tribe tour

• Wake up early for a pre-sunrise breakfast. We depart to the village for local hunting experience with Hadzabe and Datonga tribes. This is not a mere performance. The bushmen rely on these techniques to survive and you’ll need to be very attentive and at times quiet, while they demonstrate their use of locally made poisons in incapacitating the poor creatures on which they depend for survival.
• Later after lunch you will join the other tribe called Datoga, who resemble the Maasai in culture. These people are also blacksmith, as they make weapons such as arrowheads and knives which they trade with the Bushmen. You can see how they make all those stuff (arrowheads, spears, knives, bracelets etc), also how they grind maize with stones, how they melt bras, cooper or aluminum.
• Late Afternoon drive to Arusha/ Transfer to Airport for your departure flight.
