Hey guys! 🏞🌎
Today I want to tell you about a destination that has been on my bucket list for a while - and I finally managed to tick it off some weeks ago. So I was in Croatia with some friends and that was when we also visited this famous National Park - and because it's so well known I thought it would be totally crowded, but because of Covid 19 there were hardly any tourists, so we had the place almost to ourselves!

As you can see on this pic, there are many small (and also some bigger) waterfalls connecting different crystal clear lakes- all of them having different shades of turquoise. There are wodden paths leading either along the shore of the lakes, or partly over them as well. You gonna feel surrounded by nature at its best!

This gorgeous view is what you can get close to entrance one (where we entered the park) which is also the biggest one, but depending which direction you come from, entrance 2 might also be a good choice. Anyway there are different routes you can take walking through the park. Close to the parking space there's also like a small tourist information where they tell you about the different options. There are some where you only spend like 2 hours in the park, that are suitable with children, but we choose one with about 6 hours. There is even an electric ship (crossing the biggest of the Plitvice Lakes) and a train (leading almost all the way back) that are included in the entrance fee! So we used both and walked the rest of the time to see the whole park, definitely gorgeous! Could not see enough of that beautiful place!

Going there you should book your ticket maybe two days in advance (online), as there are usually many people visiting the park. Most of the time you gonna be walking in the shade, but still think about putting on sunscreen and maybe also fly dope. Oh and also bring enough water and maybe some picnic as there is no shop or anything until you reach the electric boat! Hope this travel tip helped you and kinda inspired you! Gonna put some more pics below this! Save travels 😊
