Solo Girls Trip Destinations

Girls, Girls, Girls… That’s right, this one is for all the strong independent ladies out there that don’t need a man to take them places.

For all the girls that strive for something bigger than themselves. For all those that know there is a world of adventure out there waiting and are not afraid to claim it. That’s right ladies, it’s time to step out of your comfort zone and try the road less traveled.

Solo female travelers are on the rise, with more and more women turning to adventure rather than motherhood. If you’re looking for a fun night out on the town, a new city to explore, or just a get away these are the best spots for solo female travelers.

San Francisco, USA

So what is it about San Fransisco that should be an attractive destination for solo female travelers? A better question should be what isn’t attractive about it. It is clean, it is instagramable, it is safe, and it has a popping night life. What more could a girl ask for?

Food of course… Oh yes they have that also. You will find some of the best cuisine’s in the world here. From the fresh garden salads at the Zuni Café, to the manila clams at the Liholiho Yacht Club, there is something here for everyone.

The best part about this city though is the quality of life. Everyone here seems to have a drive to improve themselves, or the world around them. This attractive element is very refreshing, and a great way to recharge.

Lucerne, Switzerland

Lucerne, is a delightfully elegant city surrounded by victorian style buildings and ancient cathedrals. This quaint little town made our list because it is the perfect spot for those travelers seeking adventure, but are in no rush to dismiss the simple luxuries life has to offer.

It’s the ideal area to just sit by the lake, enjoy the sun and read a book. It’s the type of city where the old men gather in the town square for their morning coffee, when the air is soft, but by midday it’s turned into a buzzing metropolis, with bakers, shoppers, and tourists.

There always seems to be something to do, but no one is in a rush to get it done. Everyone here is just enjoying the process one step at a time. For those single travelers, Lucerne is a hidden Oasis.

London, England

London is one of the few spots in the world where tradition and culture collide, and somehow find a way to coexist in perfect balance. This makes the city a scrambling hub of travelers that come from all over Europe. It is a great area for solo female travelers to meet up, tell stories, make some friends, and learn a new culture over a few pints.

Or, if you decided to do your own thing, just walking around and seeing the sights is an adventure in itself. From the famous Big Ben to the Tower Bridge, the architecture and history are magnificent.

That is the great thing about this city. By day you can experience the elegance and pride of the people, and the city they have built, and by night you can feel right at home because of the sprawling night life at every street corner. It really is the best of both worlds.

Hi fellow travelers, we are Adam and Mariah! We have fallen in love with traveling and exploring new places. We embarked on our first trip together during our senior year spring break, to San Francisco. The kicker was the flight would only allow us to spend 24 hours in the city. Was it worth it? Was that enough time? We decided to go for it, and a few days later we found ourselves on our first flight together traveling across the states. Little did we know this was the first of many. Adam found his passion for traveling through participating in Mission Trips. He traveled to El Salvador and Haiti. Since then, he has always been intrigued... Read more
