Cancun, Where is the Culture?

North America > Mexico > Quintana Roo > Cancún

Are you planning a trip to Cancun? Before you book, consider what you are looking for. Are you looking to cool drinks on a beach and buffets? Then I highly recommend the resorts in Cancun which offer a relaxing stay with beautiful beaches. When most people go to Cancun, they end up staying in one of the many resorts lining the long stretch of beach. It is easily accessible from the airport, and lets face it, sometimes you just want to be taken care of. However, if you are looking to experience Mexican culture, you might not want to book the mega resorts. While on the resort you will be surrounded by all the other tourists looking for fun in the sun. For some this is comforting as it is familiar, however you will not get to know what Mexico is really like. The culture can be found in and around Cancun but means you might have to give up the long beautiful beach with fabulous resorts. If you are looking specifically for culture, I can't say that Cancun is the ideal place for that, but if you are going to Cancun anyways, consider staying in Cancun itself.
Regardless of what you are looking for, Cancun definitely offers a terrific stay.
